Launois Veuve Clemence Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, Champagne, France NV

The wine was made with four years of aging on its lees as opposed to the usual 3 years. The nose shows a good vivacity, with flavours of grapefruit, apple... The mouth keeps on with a lovely finesse that steadily expands on the side of the mouth to offer more fruits, like yellow ones: pear, peach... together with a bright acidity. The style is very noble. On the second mouth, develops more complex flavours of bread, crust of bread and almond, without overwhelming the fruits. The Veuve Clemence is distinguished by its slightly exceptionally fine bubbles.
