Sokol Blosser

Sokol Blosser – Oregon, USA

Overview

Founded in 1971 by Bill Blosser and Susan Sokol Blosser, this is one of Oregon’s pioneering wineries, established early in the development of the Dundee Hills AVA. Starting with just a few acres of Pinot Noir on former orchard land, the winery has grown into a benchmark producer synonymous with sustainability and innovation in the Willamette Valley.

Now led by second-generation siblings Alex and Alison Sokol Blosser, the winery farms organically and holds B Corp certification, reflecting its long-standing environmental ethos. The volcanic and sedimentary soils of the Dundee Hills provide excellent drainage and structure for Pinot Noir, the estate’s flagship varietal. Winemaking focuses on purity, balance and site expression, with minimal intervention and a strong emphasis on sustainable practices.
