Overview

Champagne J. Lassalle is a family-owned grower Champagne house founded in 1942 by Jules Lassalle in the Premier Cru village of Chigny-les-Roses in the Montagne de Reims. Uniquely, the estate has been run by successive generations of women since Jules’ passing in 1982, with Olga Lassalle, Chantal Decelle-Lassalle and now Angéline Templier shaping its identity and style.
The 16-hectare vineyard spans multiple Premier and Grand Cru villages, planted predominantly with Meunier, alongside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on clay-limestone soils. Farming follows sustainable, reasoned viticulture aimed at preserving balance and terroir expression. Winemaking remains traditional, including parcel-by-parcel vinification and extended ageing, resulting in Champagnes that are precise, elegant and deeply rooted in family heritage.
